Dated as 1919; also dated c.1913 Gillian Jason Gallery (2) 1986 and 1993; Christie's (1986) dated c.1920, but Gillian Jason Gallery (2) 1986 catalogue states: label on mount written by Michael Gordon 'bought from Will Roberts when he went to war in 1915–17, by my father Stephen Gordon'; dated c.1930 Worthing 1972.
