EXHIBITION HISTORY: Whitechapel Gallery 1928, Manchester 1929, Brighton 1929. The 2000 Phillips sale catalogue mentioned a Leicester Galleries label on the back of the picture and speculated that this might refer to the exhibition which we list as Leicester Galleries (1) 1948; however, this picture does not appear in the catalogue of that exhibition.
