EXHIBITION HISTORY: Edinburgh 1929 (lent by the Contemporary Art Society), Manchester 1930, Arthur Tooth & Sons 1932 ('The water-colour of William Roberts, "Armistice Night," is delightful in spirit and design and free from the tubular obsession of all his more recent work.
